Video interview: Adam Sinclair on working in Scotland and Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy
Starting his acting career in the Channel 4 series, Boyz Unlimited, Scottish actor Adam Sinclair then took a part in the long-running Mile High on Sky One before appearing in films such as Van Wilder 2 and now Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy.
Ahead of the premiere of Ecstasy at the Glasgow Film Festival in February 2012, we spoke to Sinclair about his early career and the future of filmmaking in Scotland.
Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy is a Canadian dark romantic comedy film adaptation of the short story The Undefeated, from the novel Ecstasy by Irvine Welsh. Directed by Rob Heydon, the film stars Sinclair as Lloyd Buist, a drug addict who smuggles ecstasy from Amsterdam.
In the second part of our interview, Sinclair explains how he came to star in the film, the ten year development process and Edinburgh as a filming location.
